Let me tell you, it started with a bang! Whoever said that morning sickness goes away lied. At least in my case they did.

I didn’t feel well, but I still managed a cup of grape juice and some Cheerios. I was pretty optimistic about going into work for five hours, but that ended when I saw my schedule for next month. The first thing that caught my eye was the 37 hours I’m scheduled for the 1st full week in December. Problem is…I’m a part-time (25 hour) employee who will be starting my 8th month of pregnancy pretty soon. Read the rest of this entry »

I was browsing the frozen food section at Food Lion yesterday and stumbled upon something that looked completely awesome and I just had to try it.

Dole Sliced Strawberries. They were on sale for $3, so I figured why not. I love the fact that they are frozen, but not so much the taste. On the other hand, it would do well in a smoothie. If only I had some yogurt…

Bloodshot. That describes my finger after I shut it in a drawer at work. My clumsiness level has been at its peak these days. Running into walls, bumping into things, walking into my husband while he’s walking next to me….

I cooked last night for the first time in probably over a month. Despite my never ending heartburn and my struggle to separate frozen meat, I deep fried some pork chops. But oh wait…I didn’t eat any of it. I should probably do that. Read the rest of this entry »

It started with a boy. A little 3 pounder who thought it would be fun to kick mommy in the ribs as a wake up call. That seems to be the norm lately and I’m happy to see that he’s on a schedule of his own. I still can’t believe that I’ve been pregnant for over half of the year.
