I am what many would call a mommy blogger. Most of my blog entries and general website content relates to being a woman, a mother, a wife and an active blogger. You can find many blog entries related to parenting, marriage, managing a home, children and finances, and budgeting and shopping. The majority of my readers, subscribers and passing visitors are women who are in their twenties and early thirties. Most of them have children and also have interests similar to mine. I try to be very active in the blogosphere, and have maintained a consistent presence on the internet since 2004. Currently, as a new blog, domesticous.com receives over 350 unique visitors per month.
General Information
I have close to six years of experience in writing. I worked in journalism for 3 years as a writer for a local paper. I’ve written poetry, reviews, and short stories. I have no problem meeting deadlines, and I can produce quality work even under pressure.
Product reviews
Product reviews are fun and exciting, especially because I get the opportunity to try out a product or service and provide honest feedback to my readers. In many cases, product reviews (which always include photographs of the product itself and/or me using the product) are also paired with giveaways, which can really increase exposure for a company, and generate excitement in the blogosphere.
